The Centered Practice Psychotherapy and Counselling

Therapy for Relationships and Boundaries

The same relationship pattern can keep repeating with different people — giving too much, struggling to say no, or staying in dynamics that leave you feeling small. Often it traces back to what relationships looked like earlier in life.

What it can look like

Difficulty setting or holding boundaries without guilt. Fear of conflict or of disappointing people. Losing yourself in relationships, romantic or otherwise. Attracting or staying in dynamics where your needs come last. Anxiety around being left, or around being too close.

How therapy can help

We look at where these patterns come from — family, past relationships, culture — and build the skills to set boundaries that hold, communicate needs directly, and tell the difference between healthy compromise and losing yourself.

My approach

This work is often slow and relational rather than quick-fix; I aim to be a steady, honest presence while you practice doing relationships differently. Sessions are online, in English or Spanish, for individuals across Ontario.

Want to go deeper than a technique?

If these techniques help but you feel like you need more, I'd be glad to talk. I offer online individual and couples therapy, in English and Spanish, across the province of Ontario.
